Self-acupressure Trail
Based on the same principles as Acupuncture theory, Acupressure use pressure instead of needles,  and works by stimulating specific points located along the lines of energy which run through the body, called meridians. There are fourteen main meridian lines each of which corresponds to an individual organ of the body. When the vital energies are able to flow through the meridians in a balanced and even way the result is good health. However, when we experience pain or illness it is an indication that there is a block or leak in the energy flow within your body.

When ap
plied to specific sore points along the meridians at different points for different conditions, this pressure tricks the body into thinking it has been damaged. The body then produce endorphins to relieve distress in the organs and systems corresponding to that acupressure point. While the body is healing at the point of pain, it produces a Healing Response all along the meridian.

During the one-hour session, Dr. Jing and you will practice together while enjoying relaxing background music.  She will teach you some very important points, and explain why you need these points and how they work.  By practicing and improving your skills of pressing, you will feel the sensitive energy flowing.  Dr.Jing will also diagnose your issues, then make a prescription of pressure points for you to bring home to continue the healing.  In addition, she will give you advice of diet to keep your body in good condition.

Like yoga, self-acupressure is a powerful healing skill to balance energy in your body, promote blood circulation, release the tense muscles, and relax the nervous system.  This is a kind of healing tool that you can practice at home every day for twenty minutes, or practice together in Dr.Jing's studio once a week.  You will be surprised and pleased by the amazing results from self-acupressure.
